Hi, I’m Darrick Murphy, I am a 18 year veteran of the IT industry, primarily working in the education sector. I work full-time as an administrator in the Technology Department for a Career Technical School. I have also taught hardware support and network administration as an adjunct college instructor and high school teacher. I love teaching people about computers and getting to witness the moments when "the light bulb turns on".
I am also an advocate for Google, Android and the cloud based computing. I love the Simpsons, Phineas and Ferb and Dr. Who, not to mention gadgets (who doesn't). I have been tinkering with electronics since my youth and have always been blessed with a desire to understand how things work. This is why I am known by my friends to be a bit of a geek and I am proud to be considered as such.
